The White Angel & The Hound

Post by the mingo » January 25th, 2015, 5:11 pm

the white angel has come
tall as a two story house
she folds her wings
and stands invisible
in the snowfields

the hound ambles
towards the bedroom
he stops a moment
to look at one shoe
left by the door

Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

68,
This is more than a fairy tale, I know...and yet....
gonna quote another writer, a greek poet, because he began a line with the same word you ended your reply with -
... and yet, the daughter of the dead man is stepping in water and turning to seed
from "The Bones - Selected Poems - Yannis Kondos
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.
