Eschatology

time erases us
oh, a few seeds, a few flowers
remain
but we
magpie talkers
are shut up
the clocks no longer roll
our images fade in remembering minds
if we could find echoes
they would be photographs poems
phone bills the missing threads
of our old clothes
time erases us for more
than centuries
the whole eternal universe
will burn out
our molecules go poof
each electron stunned to absolute zero
the echo of the big bang radiation bonged
for good
God free of this nightmare machine
that disobeys His Will
we are to be commanded out of
existence
O Divine Peace
what a bummer
oh, a few seeds, a few flowers
remain
but we
magpie talkers
are shut up
the clocks no longer roll
our images fade in remembering minds
if we could find echoes
they would be photographs poems
phone bills the missing threads
of our old clothes
time erases us for more
than centuries
the whole eternal universe
will burn out
our molecules go poof
each electron stunned to absolute zero
the echo of the big bang radiation bonged
for good
God free of this nightmare machine
that disobeys His Will
we are to be commanded out of
existence
O Divine Peace
what a bummer
