the farmhouse, large and solid,
over a hundred years old...
said to wife... yes wife, we need
to have a smaller place
fixed 'er up ready to sell... then
stepdaughter one needs to move
back in, with the boyfriend dude...
all's cool enough, she gets the whole
upstairs, a complete self contained apartment
with private entrance... that we had to build!!!
bla bla bla
that was over a year ago,
so stepdaughter two... and dude two
asked to move in as well, holy hell, swell,
so we split the first floor, private doors,
we share the kitchen and bath... upgraded 70%
yeah, build it and they will come... back, and back and back
said... wife, ya know the universe did this...
she says, "brought the kids back, ya I know..."
I said no... left us with a smaller place.
