maybe god is under
a different roof
maybe parents should
let the child choose
their name
maybe i've become

a ghost, not mine,
in my own skin

maybe all flags
are wrong
constantly at
hand cuffs'
edge and
comforted by
restraint

and when my prayers
are halfway houses,
i don't say hi
to angels.
i don't make friends
with the demons
who

can also quote scripture.

maybe home is a whisper
maybe i don't belong here

reluctant and afraid
of paradise

when i say god
i say me too

maybe, yeah.... great lines in here!

the BIG maybe
might have beens
sinks or swims
all the cliches
paper maches
half thru i knew
the title was tight
no maybe's there
im wid u, i'll take
here over there
anytime......

beautiful reflections in this one....concepts we must all wonder about.....in the end all poetry is is kind of about, what does it all mean....artfully constructed piece....the line breaks, the food for thought.....really enjoyed this
