my dog's ears are long
so long that they trail
in his food when he eats -
more of the world is like that
than not -
delivery man comes
to my door
delivers me a package & tells me
"Four more years of this & I'm going to Florida"
great, I reply, good luck!

man that sucks when my ears dangle onto my dinner plate
most unpleasant
others at the table are aghast at the site
I'm fun at dinner parties, I pin my ears back behind my head---------
