and now here you are !
well, truth is i don't have any goats
but if i did they would
certainly be for sale -
i have this fantasy of being a goat trader
in Palestine about the year 1911
the goat trade in that area has always been brisk historically
and when i had enough cash put by
i would book passage on a freighter
out of Haifa headed for America
where only the Indians can own eagle feathers
hell yeah, Mongolia
no more goats for me !
i'd be having breakfast in a diner
on Rt. 66 somewhere in Arizona
3 years ahead of the first World War
& 18 yrs ahead of the Great Depression -
horses, deserts, oceans,
o yeah, that's the life for me !

Good afternoon. If you can't sell 'em, lemme know if you want to give one away. My lawnmower broke and I can't afford a new one. Plus, I could use the milk. Need my protein. Trying to go vegan.

Did you know that human beings are the only animals who drink another animal's milk? Truth. Disgusting, really.

Never mind about the goat. I'll borrow my neighbor's lawnmower.

Doreen...goats will eat yur grass alright, they'll alsoeat shrubs, trees, barbed wire, cars, anything....

Lawns are of the Devil. They should have never been planted in the first place ...

I worked at an Equity Livestock place back in the day. Burger King, McDonald's were huge customers of veal calves (did you know most fast food burgers are made from calves?).

But the real smackers were Goats. They were one dangerous animal to get into a pen if they didn't want to go. Electric Shocker in hand was mandatory to get them to do anything.
