staccato rumblings
the drumbeats of something coming
time-tested tribal tones
strut like guaranteed hope

so steadfast and true
peacockian chaos can be beautiful
the imperfect balance of no fear
living on the edge of wonder

i like to visit new neighborhoods
ones I'm unfamiliar with, to enjoy
the fresh slaps of strange warm winds
the swaddling of incubated melodies

please, anyone that reads these silly words
send me your favorite music
allow me the privilege
of climbing aboard your train

let me grow through you to the other side
in one ear and.....into another, and out again
into the universal vault forever altered
a new amalgam of all that is good in the world....

Gerry and the Pacemakers. Love that stuff. Listened to about two hours of them the other day and just swooned all over my wife when she got home ;)
