ever spend a life
discussing
"how can I reform"
when you are formed
a beach ball on two legs
a tennis ball on top
golf ball eyes
a mouth yelling "fore"
before the putt is lined up
and yes, a five iron
when a little tap will do
no wonder life is in the rough

there is a sharp edge to this hidden in the sports lingo...a sadness that doesn't escape the eye

" a mouth yelling "fore
before the putt is lined up "..................write on !

A wondrous game. Best times of my life, by far, have been on a golf course. I've always wanted to write my definitive golf poem...maybe this will inspire me.
