Some say she only sleeps
From beneath her glass topped cradle
Her eyes they sometimes peek
Hush don't wake Rosalia
Just let the child rest
And ponder on her smile
Please let her soul be blessed

She's the most macabre exhibit
Of these white walled catacombs
Just for the record Rosalia Lombardo was the last person to be interned at the Capuchin monastery catacombs in 1920. She remains perfectly preserved.
