The State is trying to take over the World
with its latest trustworthy mafia converts,
though the World may have other ideas.
This is all reasonably understood, right?

Re: .. while The State Tries to Take Over the World
it's a mad mad mad world.

Re: .. while The State Tries to Take Over the World
And by "the State," I mean Uncle, Who of course has fallen in with a much larger global syndicate . . . I'm amazed how this basic fact of modern existence continues to elude people. No, they gots to have their flags . . .
Re: .. as The State Tries to Take Over the World
Oh, we've come a long way, baby.
Mastered some language basics for sure.
The old War Department is called "Defense,"
but who can quibble with a nibble on
all those hi-def titties on big screen?
Ah yes, freedom! the drug.
And yes, The News used to
cover the wars, until that
became bad programming.
(Heh, that must be a pretty good link. It's already locked!)

btw, Augustus or Julio Inglesias,
or Whomever it may Concern:
.. to listen to punk (not GreenDay) on anything but those
crappy speakers you had when you first heard it,
is to miss the point.
But to not upgrade also misses the point.
Gawd I'm lost in all these recorded voices...
And of course all of my so-called witticisms
pale when I scream along with Johnny Rotten,
"You won't find me working nine to five,
it's too much fun, being alive"
. . . On my day off.
Gawd, this punk noise.
So impractical.
I think the Brits are way ahead of us
on questions of old empires (go figure),
and now it's up to us old rebels.
So now we are the Seven Billion
Something strangely "Biblical" in that.
We're pretty close to a "quorum"
of some sort, some sort of
critical mass.
Oh, but rock'n roll
will always be at war.
Guitars will always
lead rebellion.
