Oh let us praise
the gift of clouds,
their passing lifts us
from the ground

And in their glorious
towering crowns
inspiration comes
to us, earthbound

What would a world
without clouds be,
were we denied
our fantasies

Would we not suffer
cloudless skies,
and imagination
slowly die.
