Stream of Consciousness

I went up
the stream of consciousness
the trip was
fun enough

But nothing really
came of it
for the stream
had all dried up.

when the stream is dry
walk along the waterless bottom
there among the pebbles and cracks
is a precious stone
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading
