Watch what you ask for!

Watch what you ask for, they say,
'cause you might actually get it some day
and lord knows it could be more than you
can take, so wake the fuck up and pay attention —
Every thought you think can be a new invention.
You create your own world, furled
into space, desire can erase the past with a trace of
imagination and then may come a whirlwind spin
between elation and confusion. Truer words not ever
spoken, so take these words as a token of my heart
which is ripped apart, spilled down the page, stabbed
and bled, fed with love nutrition, bliss and the agony
of more more more more more more more so
please please please watch what you ask for
and don't forget it, 'cause baby, you might just
get it!

OMG! Don't do that! Sour grapes? You think things are rough? God sent me a dog what drools. Try that first thing in the morning after you have put on clean jeans and the dog comes over for his pet and drools all over your pant leg while the love is being passed around. 8)

You always get what's coming: you never have to ask.
Only by the He who learns must suffer. And even in our sleep pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God.
Aeschylus
Thinking about karma and the awful grace of God

sorry for the digression but thanks for the poem.
