Noble Truths, Redux

Post by e_dog » March 27th, 2005, 4:53 pm

If life is suffering,
then love is torture.

The cause of each is the spirit.

The spirit can be extinguished
like a torch flame
under a waterfall.

The path to the falls
is that of questioning
the matter of things.

The path is comprised
of eight stones:
fear of living,
joy of trying,
taste of body,
pain of leaving,
fear of dying,
joy of giving,
taste of failing,
pain of ending.

After the breath escapes,
there is the vacuum.

Suffering is life, and the desire of attachment the suffering of all cause. So said the Moo duh.

Allen Ginsberg wrote a song about it.
