A very short little poem but it can keep you thinking a long time. Each incremental moment contains so much----the billion stars in the sky and in the mind. And then start piling those moments together----a heap of moments that is a life. Your short poem is a moment that explodes with much debris to examine.

I have something to think about the rest of the day----and beyond.

I believe we have been conditioned
by school, advertising, pundit shills, to plan
for the future, so we set our sails and head
toward a little dot in the middle of the ocean
invested that all this toil in the salt and the sun
battles with great white sharks, will lead us to easy street
lined with heavenly palm trees, the life of riley
but when we are nearly there, we realize
it's only a mirage, what have I done ?
so, craft your moments, live in the now....

Yes.

Unfortunately, mind is an intrusive instrument eager to interrupt at the most inconvenient times... unless we realize mind *is* only a tool and we needn't live our lives around a tool but only use it when it is necessary. We don't need a hammer all the time nor do we require a screwdriver all the time. Only when there is a need do we reach for the tool to do the job. The rest of the time we can revel in the Now, rejuvenating our Self to better understand that which is our gift from beyond.

Indeed, wired, indeed. the only knowing we can achieve is no thing for it is the every thing which is mind oriented and that we can never attain for we are not equipped to know all things.

It sucks that we all get sucked into this so called game of life to the point where we end up taking those moments for granted because we have no choice but to let the moments pass. "We are never promised tomorrow. It's time to live for today." The only problem is that living for today isn't easy. We always get stuck planning for tomorrow

that is our shortcoming. it is our choice to get stuck. reinvent our need to be.

I think it's time to reinvent who we are, to become who we want to be. I'm done being stuck, time to press forward.
