perspective is everything
in fact it is reality
wisdom is not whining
about either one....

I think about this every day. Being alive is better than the alternative, so they say, whoever "they" are. But how do they know? Sometimes I think I already died and went to heaven. Other times I think I already died and went to hell. Ah well.. life is what you make it, I guess. I love life. Always an adventure. Thanks for your poem.

I used to think doing what I've been doing (being a rodbuster) kept me feeling young, probably psychologically

and it did, but the reality is what the reality is.....time marches on, retirements a dream, I'll most likely work until they cart me away.....

saw, I'm content enough to leave wisdom to the wise. As for whining my heart ain't much in it these days, takes too much energy -

Wireman - I "retired" two years ago but things ain't worked out - back to working now here and there, mostly for the landlord - I just take my SS add it to my wages and call it "extra" tongue-in-cheek

always enjoy the simplicity of your poems, i have little skill in that area as you know ha ha
can't help being bombastic....but once in awhile I have a moment of economy that surprises me.....keep up the good work
yeah, no sense in whining, right ?.....you know what they say about spilled milk

I sometimes 'feel' old but I lie.
(WTF do I know how old feels?)
I sometimes 'act' old but fool myself.
(How does 'old' act?)
I turned seven-0 this year.
(old enough to act and feel however I want. is there a name for that?)
