and bible belts
country roads and mohawks
on children
green, blue and pink hair,
walking on two human feet
16 candles
and a lifetime of despair
fuzzy navels and champagne women
dressed to go nowhere--
it's all in a song I wrote
but I'm forgetting the words
line by line by line
notes to myself
in a Selfie world gone mad.
