everything isn't... all alright anymore,
it's tiring, fooling myself I mean,
time has turned out to be my folly,
so this I guess, is the end of a dream...
I'm prayin' to the aliens, tonight,
the moon is high, and the wine is fine,
but everything is still, so wrong,
just one more sip or I'll spill my mind...
everything is true, but nothing is real,
...think I said that once before,
peace and love, with all that jazz,
pretty words, but nothing to fall for...
not the way things run around here,
look... it's earth, just smile and wave,
did you see that self in your mirror,
or is the memory one you can't save...
yeah, I was there, more than once,
the earth has no gravity, it just sucks,
too many microwaves around there,
and not enough... magnetic flux...(?)
anyhow, I smell the loss of control,
and accidents happen, or so I was told,
perhaps there exists... some purpose,
I guess, that's further down the road...
it's 11:11,
I'm outta here...

really beautifully expressed....one of the better poems I've read on coming to terms with life as one sees it through his tired old eyes....I feel the frustration in my bones, a longing unsatisfied thus far by all that has come before....a youngster cannot write this poem....
thank you for this contribution to the journal in my head ....

I love this. I feel you. It sucks feeling these things.... I know all about it... but guess what? we are NOT dead yet, so let's live and find joy in life somehow. It's supposedly a gift ... but it's what we make of it, I guess. I tell ya, I swear it's not easy for anybody. If anybody tells you their life is easy, they're lying to you.
I just read "The Four Agreements" ... It was very helpful. Recommended. Short little book, only 140 pages full of Toltec wisdom. I think you'd like it. Steve (saw) told me on FB that he's read it several times.

Read it again.
It should be a song, Walt.

tkx sawman, wrote it last night
clicked S8 and then saw...
"how you feel"... interesting, like
dialing 1-800-the universe...
and actually speaking to a human.
...and I'll sing it doreen, after we split
a couple bottles of reasonably cheap wine.
thank you
