Those stings smart but it is pretty dumb for the bug----if it was a yellow jacket it is probably still out there, stinger intact waiting to sting somebody else----or maybe it is on its last buzz.

Yeah they take over the job site round this time of year, love them soda cans. I don't mind the sting, but that itching later drives me nuts

in these parts yellow jackets lose their minds in October....my brother once was stung in the tongue as we went to sip his soda on on a carpentry job we were doing...that was nasty....scared the shit out of me....his throat was closing up.....good thing for Benadryl in the first aid kit....I just expect to get stung now in October....some folks claim it's good for you...but I dunno

I dunno ....almost died from a honey bee sting in 1962.....I was tested for about a hundred stings in both arms and came to find out the honey bee was the one and only....we used to catch em in our hands and put em in jars with holes cut in the lid...stupi shit kids do
