but you are so easy on the eyes
and bright
witty
with a real live personality
not like all the dead ones I meet
and what harm
comes from a conversation
so let me quickly bring up
a new topic
so maybe you can linger
a few more seconds
it ain't against the law you know
lingering, no it ain't
that's loitering
which is way different than this
lingering is healthy
well, at least for me
lingering is a tonic
to be ingested like good food
I don't think I'm being unreasonable
a little linger
might bring a smile to a bland face,
in fact I know it will
