matching spoons

I wish we could
lay together tonight
without definitions,
without judgment
without explanations
happy to curl up
like matching spoons
see what the morning brings

I wish we could put the words
in a mason jar, set it on a shelf
to be opened at a later date
tonight feels like a night
for welded skin and silence
tonight is best suited for measuring
the depth of ocular pools, extracting
the meaning of non-verbal tongues

I wish we could talk to each other
without the language that kills,
quiets the needs of egos that want
to be heard...hear only the music two bodies
make when temperature and electricity
have no need for random conversation
I know I'm being redundant , I know
you cannot hear me

sad poem.....nice....

but it's not language that kills....language is a tool...use it to build, destroy...use it carelessly and pay the cost....
