might imbue my flesh
when I write with my emotions
what a concept
making your guts palpable
bleeding your heart
til in runs on paper
til it runs on electronic screens
not the ones made of silk
the process is in cahoots
the endorphins and their henchmen
drugs that flow from the vastness
of sky, a connection is made
space to head to hand to pen
my body is numb, my mind
a supernova
the words a collision
with the hidden truth, the poetry
is as big a surprise to me
as it is to you
