Dr. Doolittle's Apprentice

Post by saw » January 28th, 2016, 5:46 pm

split
forces from the charcoal
not the black,
feet in cement
so much to do...
time spent
ejected cartridges
metal spun like candy
end over end
I watch them flip,
good days followed
by a bad private eye
that pulls back the curtain
glimpses things
that need to be done,
opposing forces
tangle like bad actors
greek tragedies
over dramatized,
nothing but duality
the drive to be artistic
the voices that say no...
Polynesia the parrot
Gub-Gub the pig
Jip the dog
Pushmi-Pullyu
part gazelle
part unicorn
maybe everyone feels this way
a stranger in an even stranger land
Dr. Doolittle's Apprentice
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading
