Rewards and punishments

Post by creativesoul » February 19th, 2016, 11:22 am

For good behavior
She gave herself
A pedicure
For the punishment was slow
Edging a long the windowsills
Waiting
That woman with the red hair
Real demonstrative
Sneezing
Gray skies
Filled with rain
Have time to read like an old woman
In the teapot
She floats around me with her blue eyes
Once green
And guides
Keeps me out of trouble
With her medicine
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

the transitions we make later in life come with seasoned eyes and a gentler perspective of what went down...it's Ok to forgive ourselves....we were all doing our best at that moment...this is good poetry....hints of this and that....
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading
