blue horses orange cows

Post by saw » February 24th, 2016, 8:56 am

ecstatic
in the trance
penning the brain
not with fences
with ink at this moment
it's all so jet black
against white hot
not much else
to do when snowbound
go find a muse
so here it goes
the mind unleashed
to the pastures
where Franz Marc mingled
with the strange animals
in his head
Der Blaue Reiter
consortium of the rejected
Kandinsky, Jawlensky
Marianne Von Werefkin
beautiful abstractions
contemporary primitive
neo-folksy
psychedelic
before it existed
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

art will always lead the way
change happens when fearless new eyes
give new perspective
to old men with ugly ties

mix it up forget about the match
holes are for pigeons to roost
fly like a hairless eagle
sleek and determined
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

Marc Chagall
First thought that comes to mind
Your truly invigorating freedom is priceless
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

this was inspired by my visit to the Franz Marc Museum outside of Munich, with others in the so-called blue rider group....cool stuff

you may end up where you are heading
