trails of the dead
soldiers
civilians
children
no-one remains untouched
nightmares haunt those who survive
the last man standing
wins nothing

and yet the thing continues

the word is a trigger
for a million feelings

like a little child
i wish someone could make it 'go away'

utter truth, winners are losers in the end, the costs are incalculable

"war, what is it good for? absolutely nothing"...same old song goes on and on and on....
