mining enlightenment

Post by saw » March 26th, 2016, 8:43 pm

who I am is not very
interesting
on the affected surface,
but with some perseverance
I have mined the pitch-black
caverns with a headlamp and a pickax
to see the gunk in the cavities....
it's there alright....under every rock,
in the shiny rivulet with salamanders
from the primitive me, they crawl
around without any clothes on
and in their nakedness, in their
determination to be nurtured,
I come to know the depths
of all living things.....Even Me !
secrets are secrets because
that's the way the unknown rolls,
it hides in the thorny neighborhoods
near the rib cage waiting to be
explored, arterial caves with pictographs
of every one of your lives, wow !
I'm still boring mind you.. but at least now
I've found a great way to kill some time,
I dig deeper, sift through the lost memories
with a screened box....shake out the nuggets
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

Interesting introspection, I go mining the inner mind , going with out a clue as to what I am looking for .Thinking in poetry becomes normal ..smile

Yes! Naked rock... Mining has come a long way. We're even mining for God Particles down in the crust now.
