that went by in a hurry
why is it
that for a brief time
i can see the beauty
and then after the joys of beauty have faded
i wish he would go

wanna be my boyfriend? are you kidding me
oh yes rommance the artist
so we abandon oir craft to listen to you and talk to you
and care for you
no

the sting of the sexy bee
at first you barely notice
then a welt rises up on the skin
and the bumble becomes a jumble....

A muse is sometimes a mistress too expensive to keep
(this is how I became a ghost; the cat was kept. Art
starved, art died, and now merely what's left of me
haunts the spaces between what words materialize).

Pretty kitty, though. When she purrs. I haven't
read a poem yet that was better than pussy.

There is some sadness, some anger and some humor in this.
