the lies they tell

do you ever wonder why they have to lie about everything
do you ever ask yourself if you uncover one lie
how many lies are underneath do you think one lie
or two or ten or a hundred lies are acceptable
where does one lie begin and where does another end
which lie do you begin with, it's about who we really are
it is about how we came to be here on this planet
do you think the growing things of this world know
do the trees and the grass and the mountains and rivers
do you think the poets are here to tell more lies
or do they tell us trough the random play of words
what it is that those others don't want you to know
and now you know, that everything is somehow connected
all the words of the poet are coming through a kind of story
that flows from some mystery that speaks from where ever
it begins, each poem recreates the world from where it
comes in on it, we often come in on it where the flowers do
do you ever ask yourself if you uncover one lie
