Darkness and gray skies

I'm in total shock. I slept maybe one hour. Canceled plans today. Can't move. This has terribly affected me. We are screwed.

The science fiction writer Damon Knight penned the following introduction to a satirical story he included in his anthology "Dimension X":

"The late C.M. Kornbluth, who died when he was 35, was one of the most prolific and talented writers this field has produced. In this story ["The Marching Morons"] he examines a proposition that I believe myself - that, all things considered, the Stupids are more dangerous than the Crazies."

How did people get so stupid, well the smart people
figured out how to keep a certain amount of us stupid.
It is really funny, but if you listen to people like Einstein

people are stupid because it's in the water, the food

is meant to dumb us down. Us poor humans don't
have much of a chance against weaponized stupidity.

when a despicable indecent individual captures the hearts and minds of people that have chosen to turn a blind eye to reality, the world is heading for a collision....with those that don't accept that...I will never accept racism, misogyny, xenophobia, hate, bullying and the austerity proposed by dangerous demagogues as a way to live in this world....what better time than right now to challenge the status quo bullshit of the one percenters...I'd rather just relax in my retirement and poor health, but will most certainly join the throng in the streets that say NO...I won't be able to just spectate...I'll go out with a bang
