poetry is a different way to explore language
everything we hear in the mainstream media
is meant to keep us hoodwinked
and this has been going for a very very long time
people are beginning to realize they can't trust
what they are told by talking heads
but this should have been obvious at least since
the late sixties, there are reasons for this
as a poet as I call myself I have known this
since I was a teenager, nobody told me this
I sensed it, but I also sensed it when I was six
years old, when I was singled out by my grade school
teacher, for drawing a picture of alien machines
in a cave in stead of candyland like all the other kids
when we were told to draw a picture of our dreams
I sensed then that I was not a conformist
we live in a very subconscious world, we are bombarded
with all sorts of nonsense, like how did so much chaos
become so injected into this presidential election
on one hand you have people becoming more aware
of the lies we are spoon fed by the media, but on the other
we see people being led to believe that rioting is going
to improve the situation, but why can't they see that
this is exactly what the powers that be want them to do
that these fake riots are being funded by evil minds to divide
the people, it is obvious that we have not had any real president
since JFK, they all are chosen by the vile shadow government
how things got so distorted is all part of the human condition
and it goes back thousands of years, but in recent times
the elite cabal knows how to use the subconscious to keep
us distracted from the real issues, we did not have cell phones
in the late sixties, we were united by real issues, war and poverty
poetry is like the stranger in the room that uses language
as it really is meant to be used, not to make people stupid
not to feed subconscious confusion, but to bring to the surface
who we really are, by freeing our thought to see through illusion
poetry is the stranger in the room
Post your poetry, any style.
