we do what we can do
put our best foot forward
and then the second best
motivation can be heavy
like a boa constrictor, but
rather carry a big fat snake
then lie down in the weeds
and go to sleep forever, so
we gives it our best shot
some days that's impressive
other days leaves much to be
desired, but who said all days would be equal
life is a grand crap shoot
we rolls dem dice and hope
we have a little enjoyment
hope we have a little love
before the sands run bone dry
