LSD was so much more interesting then television
no wonder I could not get into the high school spirit
it's a harsh reality to realize that Hollywood
never had our best interests at heart
it was always the commercials that mattered
and making us think inside the box

so those 60's Hell's Angels movies
sold a lot of beer

Okay, your poem. Have to be talking initially about that beautiful blonde Emily Procter and David Caruso. That character Calleigh Duquesne was usually so low key. In her own way just like----I'm turning away from you and mumbling as I say---Horatio Caine. I'm standing there looking over my shoulder at you----okay, time for a commercial.

An exception is the black lady CCH Pounder (Dr. Loretta Wade), Maybe not sexy ( she would create no scandal like Kerry Washington) but she would be a great person to know. Dr. Loretta has a big kind heart and knows her stuff and has a sense of humor.

But the poem, though embodied with lovely coroners, is about the mesmerizing, wish-fulfillment fantasies and escapes that TV gives us. Of course it messes with our take on reality.

I enjoyed what you say---the truth (as you and I see it)---and how you say it. Interesting poem. and the key line
