flash, the biggest not fake news
is that most news is fake
because almost everything
we have ever been told is fake
that is the real news is what they have been
hiding from us for countless ages
I'm not talking about the news of the assassination
of presidents, which even though we saw it in TV
so we know it happened, like Kennedy
but we were not told the real news about who did it
we don't know the real news about who assassinated
Martin Luther King either, nor are we told about
why the world wars were started, and what really happened
the biggest secret of all is about extraterrestrails
but there is a lot of information to be found on them
which begs the issue, if this is the biggest story ever
and there is a lot of information, then why are so many
people ignorant about the most important story ever

which goes back to just how long we have been faked out
the reason why this latest presidential election has created
so much insanity is because, it is totally insane that
people that call themselves progressive would want to
elect a candidate that has done so much havoc on the planet
people can't even wrap themselves around the idea of a nuclear war
so they don't believe that their wonder woman planned on
starting another war with Russia, all this madness is so beyond
the pale, all we have had since this country came into being
is one war after another, and the reasons for all that
that we are told is fake fake fake news

so here we are with all these years of computers and smart phones
and all these young people are so traumatized by the side effects
not to mention chemtrails, Gmo foods, filthy water, and garbage Tv
that they can't tell reality from fiction, and that is why they
would elect a war monger, but on the other hand
why would anybody want Trump, maybe because he says
he is going to make this country great again,
and we want to believe him
but what would be greatness
do we even know

I don't know all of the deep dark secrets going back many centuries, but basically, despite hellacious, murderous, war-ravaged nineteenth and twentieth centuries, humanity still managed to breed like bunnies and really start filling in and taxing the home planet (still hard to believe how fast it happened, but maybe these "booms" happen periodically), coming out of and trying to extend a period of old powers and paradigms trying to lock up as much land and resources as possible by brute means while they still could, and leading to the Big Battles of Global Social Order-- "Capitalism," "Socialism," Religionism, and a host of sub-isms, IZZM IZZM IZZM! as McKenna observed-- how is the exploded world to be split up and ordered, ruled by emerging "Cultures of Efficiency" eliminating the "inefficient" in various ways, some ugly and unseen...

Or something like that... And for the record, Sir Edmund Hillary Clinton (sorry, Ed) was quite the warmonger when she had her chance on the big stage. But then, that ties into the above paragraph I think. Or maybe not. I'm not sure.

Enjoyed----in that the poem and mnaz's comment gets me to thinking.

We have to stop putting sociopaths in power. Seems to be the way of the world. There has been progress in technology but it too has an expiration date. Humanity has progressed socially? We abolished slavery? Not really. How many are 24/7 slaves to the corporation they work for?

News---all news---seems to be spun. We are caught in its web.
