Wrinkles

Post by creativesoul » January 28th, 2017, 6:59 pm

Once that skin looked like a baby
So smooth and soft:radiant -
Pretty: - handsome: beautiful
The sun is out
I'm in the apartment

I just feel strange
There is no rhyme or reason
I dunno it is a season of hope
Now the skin remembered
Touch my soul her womanhood screamed
Oh I want to be a mother
Then I will understand what it really means
To love and be loved
Together or apart

These years and places an time gave
Her wrinkles and crows feet
Her tongue seemed to say
Oh I want to eat sweet
Want to sleep so well
All of this is what I left in flight
Will I ever regain my sight
I was so very uptight
I want to do sit ups and hide
I thought I was over this
Bleeding heart prophet

The old woman grew
From a bulb into a flower
Love came through
In all it's power
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

The power of the flower is love, nothing about that expression has changed. 8)
