Sound seeks the ear
pounds on the door of the heart
the flour girl mounts to council
wanting to take vows
to become spouse to the owl

Her lips open, about to speak,
her body her friend
a shroud of flesh over her soul

a wedding gown
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.
