I don't want to write a poem
I want to write something as real as the screams
any baby bird makes again & again & again
being torn apart by a crow
something you can hear
in your mother humping bones
something you will jam your fingers
in your ears over & will run run away from
but won't forget

difficult to achieve....but we try and try.... sometimes we get pretty close

I promise not to forget

That's not what I said. You suck as a reader for sure. I said I wanted to write something "as real as" -

No, you suck as a writer.

You said: "I don't want to write a poem."

And then you wrote one.

I merely pointed this simple misstep out, that's all.

I thank you for all your gracious efforts on my behalf. I'm always trying to reduce the number of my faults but I have yet to come to the end of them.
