time is escaping
slipping through the portals,
my fingers can't catch it...
it's water from the eaves
outside the barrel-staves

my reality dampens
like unwelcome humidity

it all seems so perverse
this obsession with time well-spent
minutes i used to ignore...
illness and death are buzz-killers
but they are also damn good

alarm clocks

I don't know what to say about that time thing anymore. You damn sure can't fight it, might as well just surrender.
