I listen to the galactic

space aliens made us the way we are
this happened long long ago
so it will be space aliens
from a different part of the galaxies
that will make things right
this has been hidden from us humans
the bible calls the aliens that messed
with human DNA fallen angels
truth about our origin is encoded there

something is going on in Antarctica
something that would change
everything we know about our planet
people are not allowed to explore there
the military is totally in control
stories of pyramids being found
alien technology that can heal the planet
can give us energy, this has been suppressed

and here we are in Ferlinghetti's foot steps
right in the heart of the universe
the exact center of the universe
and on a dark night in the Arizona desert you can see other galaxies
can't help hoping things are better there
how many generations are going to get fucked by a confederacy of dunces
don't mean nothing
drive on
thanks for the poem 8)

Once at a reading at City Lights with Ted Jones
Ferlinghetti looked at me like I was was from outer space
I mean he gave me a very weird look, I was just standing there
I admit I looked like a hippie, and not some rich beatnik.

I was thinking about the footprints he left in the dust of Nagasaki when he was there a few weeks after the bomb.

Ted Joans, I talked to him after the reading, he gave me his phone number, I only called him once, he was very nice, a jazz/surrealist poet.
