Blind Mans Bluff

Post by ~K » August 19th, 2004, 3:58 am

You need
someone
to listen

I hear you

You need
some one
to miss you

I miss you

You need
someone
to kiss
to tear you
from yourself
to twist your words
til they make sense

so
I kiss
I tear
and I
twist
Til there is
nothing left

still you persist

Like you need
some one
to tell you lies
well, I was
lying
when you said
you need
some one
to try
and I said
I was trying

You need
someone
to open up
your eyes
and so
do
I

* * *

Deaf Men Shout

This is what I need
I need you to shut up
just shut your fucking mouth
just go away again
and this time stay there
I need to kiss
and tear and twist
anothers lips
this is how it is
I need you less
than I need myself

Kim,

guess i can guess how you are
(or tell me this isn't based on recent life experience)

Hi judih!

Yep, it's based on recent life experience but not mine. Not directly anyway. My love life is just too damn boring to write about! Good to see you again!

IÕve often wondered when I think IÕm writing something about someone else, if it doesnÕt actually make more of a statement about myself than the other person, simply by showing what IÕm focused on. Such as, if I had written and focused my attention on this

I need to kiss
and tear and twist
anothers lips

I might wonder if I needed some excitement in my life
You did just have a baby
Babies take up so much time

Just a thought
And working out some of my art therapy theories
What do you think?

I agree completely. That's why I said not directly. I have to believe I am always in there somewhere!

Right on!

Now thatÕs all got me wondering if we were to acknowledge and see ourselves all over everything we do can we then write something about someone other than just ourselves, with a stretch, a yawn and even scratch our tummies if they itch

Alright now IÕm thinking
Music must be included in all therapy

I love The Who

Bargain

I'd gladly lose me to find you
I'd gladly give up all I had
To find you I'd suffer anything and be glad

I'd pay any price just to get you
I'd work all my life and I will
To win you I'd stand naked, stoned and stabbed

I'd call that a bargain
The best I ever had
The best I ever had

I'd gladly lose me to find you
I'd gladly give up all I got
To catch you I'm gonna run and never stop

I'd pay any price just to win you
Surrender my good life for bad
To find you I'm gonna drown an unsung man

I'd call that a bargain
The best I ever had
The best I ever had

I sit looking 'round
I look at my face in the mirror
I know I'm worth nothing without you
And like one and one don't make two
One and one make one
And I'm looking for that free ride to me
I'm looking for you

I'd gladly lose me to find you
I'd gladly give up all I got
To catch you I'm gonna run and never stop

I'd pay any price just to win you
Surrender my good life for bad
To find you I'm gonna drown an unsung man

I'd call that a bargain
The best I ever had
The best I ever had

~K,
when do we get to see some more?
how about a painting dear?
or some music over the phone?

the way you play the piano drowns me in you
real easy like and smooth
while i'm listening i don't even care if i ever get to breath again
all i want is for you to keep playin'
