failing the temptation of light

failing the temptation of light
__________________________

to be lost in ego
like locking yourself up
in a four-walled prison
without any windows of light
to admit the truths you long for
and it is your ego that holds
the key that will pop open
the door that was never truly locked
but only appeared that way
in the darkness of your mind

freedom and love awaiting your release

well done!
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

Once you open up and let go, love and freedom is yours for the taking. Or something like that.

I often think to myself...you only get to keep what you give away, if that makes any sense....I believe in a kind of "enlightened surrender"... 8) 8)
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

I just loves a good darkness of mind 8) It's always a precursor -
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

The other day : a woman with multi colored dregs almost hit me in the parking lot by the gym
She drove by laughing
I saw her in the gym and went to have a look at this idiot
She had a necklace on that said -"ego"
I backed away
It was all right there-
And not pretty

I just hAve to say that pretty girls can be fugly- society blondes with Los Angeles plastic surgery
I have had it with vanity
Today I was on the top of the heap( frank sinistra s house)really
I dunno if singing in " ole new york" would have been appropriate
The old couple might have died
But I stopped and said some prayers
With my hair and tobacco
That land was so loud
