i was but a boy
when I wrote my first poem
I don't remember anymore
what it was all about
now I'm senior citizen
old man - if you ask me tomorrow
what this poem was all about today
I'll laugh at you
you'll get pissed
thinking you're being tricked with

within the mystery
the words are just the skeleton
the meat is in the eyes
the organs are in the mind
write on

wrote my 1st sci-fi epic when I was around 8
"Space Monster"
hilariously awful
years later
rediscovered it one night
with my li'l bro
we added booze and cannabis
turned it into a radio play
and taped it
wish I could find it now....
