Moonlight

It was stupid to pretend
That sleep would return
In fact: the body was over it
It was like a cuckoo clock
All the parts inside begin to rock
In the dark with the moon and stars
No place better
The soul swoons
In that light
Movement
Tingle subtle moves
The diligence of all that spiritual essences
Taming the wild; enchanting the child

waning and waxing
the moon is in my soul
the moon is so bright
my future is so bright
I need to wear shades

that light is so bright it penetrates even the thickest of skin
wakes you up with the ideas of grandiosity and tasting that coffee in the moonlight
then it becomes the standrd to eat berries and yaogart
because i can
the stars laugh
hollywood is a few mountains away

creativesoul - this is a beautiful poem. '"spiritual essences
taming the wild; enchanting the child" - just gorgeous

Yes, there is nothing quite like desert space to see deeper into space (I continue to be amazed by it). And the moon! Just stunning, its silvery spell cast on its sister-rockscapes..
