I let my dog out
at night
he gets to howling at something
out there that I can't see
just standing there howling off
in a certain direction
it bugs me every time
and every time, frustrated, I tell him
to get his beagle ass back
in the house
closing the door on all that
behind him

Had a wolf once that howled when their was a siren
