The Story of Hot Dogs

pack of hot dogs in the fridge
they will feed me
nourish me
allow me to go on

their remains will be
turned to warm shit
deposited into cold water
and flushed

the hot dogs do not know this
they wait patiently
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.
