one crazy bucolic morning
I will rise to the day, match
Botticelli's birth of venus
in ways less sublime perhaps
but will the same balls
and I'll pop in some zeppelin
adjust my comfy headphones
and walk right into the sun
there's this place that feels
like lsd along this little stream
that snakes into my ears, eyes, heart, lungs
and I will be restored enough
to fight all the un-asked for battles
that life insists upon, I'll grin and buck up
I'll go there one morning....

reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
