It's nineteen degrees in April.
My toes are rigid for godssake.
Strange holes in North Pole ice.
Gore said he invented the Internet,
I heard it on some right wing thing
whistling past graveyards of politics
of the leftover leftist demons because
WE ALL AGREE WE HATE COMMUNISM!

So anyway it's nineteen fucking degrees
in the middle of America, the middle of spring,
and somehow it will all be blamed on Al Gore
running for office way back in two thousand.
He never should have claimed the Internet,
because that's impossible.

we all have decades of memories about the seasons being a certain way
but now we have to relearn and adjust to the reality before us
and know...that extreme weather events will be the new normal...
it's interesting to me that some places where generations made a home
may no longer be a viable place to start a family...the coastlines ie
California....wildfires, oil slicks, drought, mudslides....seems risky
at what point do the insurance companies pull the plug on some areas ?

Absolutely! It is the extreme weather changes that not only will (and does) change all of life itself.

We, life, are totally dependent on weather to feed us, clothe us, shelter us. When those patterns change,

life must change with these conditions... or perish. What once was will soon be no longer.

Probably. And right on cue I read today that Trump might be nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize (because of recent events in Korea). Shit, we might as well punt the planet into the middle of the sun.

But then I only get to live for a few decades through all this madness, so what do I know? Nothing, really.
