I can't find the poem
that goes with this title.
I've looked all over.
I think the ants carried it off
chewed it up and regurgitated it
as food for new ant babies
I don't begrudge them a life
but
the little fuckers!

The sun was beating down
One red ant and I
At the market the veadpy looking thing
Carrying a twig as big as he is
Her friend waited somewhere with her car
Shouting everywhere that she goes
For shock value
Newspapers blow in the wind
Words blow out of her mouth
Like a whale with a spout
She drives like it’s a truck
She announces her arrival and departure
Tirelessly watching what other people are doing
Who they are doing
Yes m so tired
I just want a ride to the hospital

A most Dino-esque poem...we could substitute kiwis for the ants..
