and not only that, but they sell a thing
called fish pie mix
right in stores
like everyone might rush out and
make a fish pie
at any moment
it has to be true, the BBC says so
i'm going to take off walking -
pennsylvania, new jersey, you aren't even
tiny obstacles
then through the ocean
chanting pie, pie

I like the idea of fish pie, but then I think of a fish dinner and pie. Why muddle them together?

I can't help but see a vendor at a cricket match yelling " Get yer savory fish pie, right here !"....and then tossing them into the crowd

I also drew an immediate connection to the meat pies in Sweeney Todd....what a gruesome story, the sadistic barber and his baker friend in the basement...yikes

I wonder if fish pie mix is like Old Bay ( a Baltimore tradition )...we put Old Bay seasoning on everything here

Chicken Pot Pie... Fish Pie... with or without the crust? Gotta have a crust over it.
And don't forget the sliced green chili around the fish... gotta have long green chili.

fish pie wiht cheese...?? mmm...it tastes like too much protein together... We use to make it with eggs (I know, it´s also protein... ), sweet pepper an a lot of onions instead... and I never associated the possibility of a chant joining it... Funny poem, gracias!!
