Drawers

In the guest room
With the private bath
Things were pink with ribbons
Her framed paintings
I brought her daughters broken heart before her
And she just did not notice
So it was easy to convince myself to detach
Not snarling in a viscous debate of differences
But to just go through the motions of honor and respect
More for myself I guess
I squeezed my self so tight I could not take a shit
The mother lode
Gotta Get her out of my hair
Every day I know
That what I did
Was show her I loved her
One last time

The only time the towels in my house matched was before Hurricane ininkithe scissor and nails and the hammer
All the only thing I have in common with glamour

Love and respect is hard to reach when it runs into that sort of resistance almost like unnecessary "noise"... Sounds like you've found the right amount of detachment to get there.

Sea shells and wooden dolls
